What is the idea?
The education system is suffering from general neglect – and the lack of awareness is the heart of the situation.
Today, anyone who has anything to do with education are conducted by the public opinion polls – What you know has a significant importance.
At Education Watch there is an independent extensive pool of information that was created precisely for this reason.  

Example:
The recent teachers strike caused major embarrassment within the public. 
It was not clear who the strike involved, and what exactly the strike was about.
The civilian lack of awareness allowed for the distraction of the public's discussion to the topic of reduction of students per class, as though this is the topic on which all problems of the education system lie.Eventually, the Israeli government was committed to invest enormous amounts of money in class reductions – in contrast to the leading school systems in the world and the opinions of the greatest experts in the field. (Reduction of students per class is important on its own accord, but the quality of teachers and their status is much more important. Reduction of students per class will require an addition of teaching work force which will force another reduction of perquisites in order to get accepted to study teaching in a recognized establishment.
